jonsparkes : 1000 years of memory in your voice loraine....hard to put to words really,,, almost haunting, there's a wisdom, a knowing, almost remembering times long gone in your voice loraine

New Song "Annie Annie"-Reminiscient of Stevie Nicks a bit - haunting intro and melody Nice instrumentation - and a pop/minor key'd ballad - a la Phil Collins - same type of mood as "In the Air Tonight"
Overall - it's a good tune - a different feel - a touch of 80's
If Hendrix could breed with Phil Collins- I feel this is the styled song that would eminate!

Eliminating competition, the "Ultimate Love Song 2007" is written by Juet Dansk and Edward Gowens. As remarkable songs by independent artists land on my desk, my pen won't rest until I've share the best. I've been compiling a list of love songs that were competing for the number one spot as the ultimate love song 2007. This is it. Edward Gowens' deeply personal lyrics to the dreamy music of Juet Dansk's sensuous "BABY", so very transparently disclose the celestial reality of ultimate love that was destined to happen. Feel this love on Ed Gowens' rendition of "Baby" re-titled as "BABY, I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU" which can be heard at Ed Gowens Soundclick site (linked to the YES page of my website). The song lifts the words right out of my heart and into the love-filled voice of Loraine Washburn (native of England): "Baby, I love you with all of my heart. What would I do without you? I drown in those eyes and I melt in your arms. Life is so perfect with you. Before I met you, I was waiting for you. I just knew that you would come along ..." and you did. Baby, I'll always love you, EVY. P.S. If you know of a new indie love song that equals the beauty of "Baby, I'll Always Love You", I'd love to hear it.

Loraine, I am looking forward to recieving the Echota Records CD you sent. My listeners seem to like your beautiful clear voice and vocals. Thanks, Tom

Regarding song " Little White Lies"- The lyrics were strong and well supported by the melody and the overall concept is cool..........You definitely have a flair for writing and should continue to pursue it...J&J (Nashville Producers) http://www.jimandjoe.com/

Hi there Loraine I am honoured that you will do a song or two or three of mine ...Bob Johnston (record producer/Canada)

Regarding "The Nicest Song" Ed, you were right about her range. Holy cow! She 's also got a great tonal quality to her voice. I didn't realize she was singing so high until I tried to sing along. That's a really good tune. The lyrics have very vivid imagry. I always shoot for that. The melody will tear at the heart strings of country listeners . Love it (Jon Lehti/songwriter)

Regarding the song "Traveling" - Thank you for this single you sent. I can sure use it on my radio show here in the Netherlands. We'll probably send it to the voting dj's for our European Chart in July on a Compilation Disc. (DJ/ Hein de Haan)

Regarding "Time waits for no Woman"... Loraine Rhonnie wrote a beautiful song, my wife loves it and you sing it so well, you can feel the passion in your voice on this song. The song is very well done, and the music is right there! -Randolph Michaud

Joy and Pejay at country Roads would like to promote your music on our radio Program. We did contact someone a while back about your music but maybe the Email got lost on some sputnic, (thats not a little white lie) Kindest Regards (DJ's Joy and Jejay/ Victoria Australia)

Dear Loraine, can you send me a signed photograph of you ? Thanks a lot ( DJ/ Johny Webers Radio Lorali Belgium)

Hi there, THanks for the sample tune! Your web site is hot by the way!! So after listening to you sing on the site and your samples, heres my take for what its worth You could go either way I feel with either main stream commercial type country, or the singer/songwriter world which of course would be my pick. I think you have a real nice range and I like the lower style you do with some of the tunes, and it seems you have a real draw to that, let me know if you need a mando for any of your projects. (Musician/ Gary Thompson)

Recieved the Echota CD today , Had a listen, it will easily fit into my radio show format and will be playing tracks from it over the coming months, Regards (DJ/ Graham UK)

Regarding Little White Lies- The song concept is great. I like the vocals on it. Where did you record this at? Are you from the Atlanta area? I am a tracking engineer and sound designer, and operations manager for DJ Rockin Rollin Entertainmet (Billy Falin)

Dear Miz low you're an absolute treasure for your work on DADDY'S FIDDLE! Everyone is impressed and delighted! Especially Ruby and Me! Hi to Jon & Critters! Dan Gold 'Golden Oak Music

Hi Loraine and Jonathan, Hope this finds you both well and on top of the world. Lovely to meet you on paltalk loraine , our pleasure indeed. Ed sent us the words to "Take My Heart" Four or five months ago, to see what we thought of the lyrics, which we thought were great, and never heard any more about it till now, he was waiting for the right artist to come along, we think. You certainly have done a great job on this number and we felt very humbled, to be one of the first DJ's to play it. Ed has sent us a lot of music, for us to play on our show on radio Woodfville, and the likes of James Maddox, Barry Rayburn, Rick Woods, Amber Lee and Rita Thomas, the quality of music that comes out of Echota Records is the best.
Love to you both Your Kiwi Friends Robin and Marlene your "country at it's best" Team

sheila-uk-WHP: - I just love your new song "Drivin Rain" the duet, i have played it a few times. I think it is a griity and strong song

NZ DJ BECKY- hi there!...are ya around?
an interesting story to tell ya.....while in the supermarket yesterday, we were approached by a gentleman that wanted to know exactly where you and Jonathan were located in Georgia.....seems his son had been over to Atlanta for something or other...anyway ....this gentleman wanted his son to get a cd ( or cds) of yours for him and it seems that there were none to be found where he looked.....now......
he went on to say how VERY much he enjoyed your music... we were very pleased to agree with him and because "we could" hehehe, we told him to stop by the radio station and pick up a cd (ED's comp) so that he would have you to listen to while on his tractor on the dairy farm thought you'd wanna know how very much you and Jonathan are admired here in this beautiful country he wants more of your music than was on the Echota comp too
Becky
